MFSP 550S Biological Aspects of the Forensic Sciences 2.0 Credits

This course provides an introduction to forensic biology including microscopy, pathology, anthropology, entomology, molecular biology, microbiology and epidemiology. Methods for serology, human identification, cause & manner of death and assessing forensic timeline will be discussed. The students will learn the role of plants, wildlife and microbes in determination of crime location. Mock cases will challenge students to create an outcome by biological data assessment.
