NUPR 612 AGACNP III: Evidence-Based Clinical Management for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Populations III 5.0 Credits

This is the third course in a series of four clinical courses for the graduate student studying to become an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This course is designed to foster ongoing development of clinical competency and role transition in the setting of acute surgical patients in the preoperative and postoperative settings. This course fosters the development of adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioners in providing evidence-based clinical care through the integration of advanced diagnostic reasoning, advanced medical intervention, and advanced pharmacotherapeutic intervention. Faculty-supervised clinical practicum is required in this course.
