NUPR 613 AGACNP IV: Evidence-Based Clinical Management for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Populations IV 5.0 Credits

This is the fourth course in a series of four clinical courses for the graduate student studying to become an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This course is designed to foster ongoing development of clinical competency and role transition in the setting of critically ill adult and older-adult patients. This course fosters the development of adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioners in providing evidence-based clinical care through the integration of advanced diagnostic reasoning, advanced medical intervention, and advanced pharmacotherapeutic intervention. Faculty-supervised clinical practicum is required in this course.
