NUPR 632 FNP III: Evidence-Based Clinical Management for Primary Care Across the Lifespan III 5.0 Credits

This course expands the student’s exposure to the NP role in primary care for clients across the lifespan. This course builds knowledge in diagnosis and management of acute/episodic and chronic. The students will continue to apply the concepts of cognitive theories and Healthy People determinants of promoting quality of life, healthy development, and health behaviors across all life stages. Professional issues impacting the advanced nursing role and moving toward the utilization of full scope of practice are addressed. This course fosters evidence-based clinical care through the integration of advanced diagnostic reasoning, advanced medical intervention, and advanced pharmacotherapeutic intervention. Faculty-supervised clinical practicum is required.
