NUPR 650 WHNP I: Evidence-Based Clinical Management of Gynecologic/Gender-Related Issues I 5.0 Credits

This is the first course in a series of four clinical courses for the graduate student who is studying to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). This course is designed to introduce the WHNP student to the gynecological needs of women and their partners from puberty throughout the post reproductive years. This course fosters the development of women’s health nurse practitioners in providing evidence-based clinical care through the integration of advanced diagnostic reasoning, advanced medical intervention, and advanced pharmacotherapeutic intervention. Faculty-supervised clinical practicum is required in this course.
