NUPR 653 WHNP IV: Evidence-Based Management for High Risk Obstetric/Post-Partum Needs of Women/Families 5.0 Credits

This is the fourth course in a series of four clinical courses for the graduate student who is studying to become a WH/GR NP. The course is designed to introduce the WHNP student to the assessment of high-risk obstetrical care of the pregnant woman, the fetus, and the family unit. This course fosters the development of women’s health nurse practitioners in providing evidence-based clinical care through the integration of advanced diagnostic reasoning, advanced medical intervention, and advanced pharmacotherapeutic intervention. Faculty-supervised clinical practicum is required in this course.
