Minor in Management

About the Minor

The Management minor provides students with a foundational understanding of four essential managerial skills: (1) strategic insights and decision-making, (2) leadership, (3) innovation management, and (4) communication. Through coursework combining theory and practice, students develop the abilities to collaborate effectively, communicate persuasively, and think strategically in addressing organizational challenges.

This minor complements a variety of majors, offering a versatile skill set that enhances students’ technical expertise with managerial perspectives. It prepares students for diverse roles requiring business acumen and cross-functional insights, including client-facing positions in accounting, banking, business development, and marketing, as well as applied management roles in fields such as arts, engineering, healthcare, and family business. By adding managerial competencies, the minor broadens career opportunities and strengthens students' leadership potential across industries.
