About the Program

The updated and revised Drexel LeBow Executive MBA program prepares experienced professionals to become enterprise leaders rather than stronger functional specialists. Students learn to develop, sharpen, and exercise strategic wisdom under uncertainty, integrate financial, market, operational, technological, legal, and human dimensions of business problems, and turn strategy into execution across complex organizations. The program also builds fluency in AI-enabled innovation, ethical governance, negotiation and influence, and the ability to read global and geopolitical forces as core business realities. Students strengthen the adaptability, reflection, and leadership presence required to lead consequential change.

The learning experience is intentionally interdisciplinary and applied. Across a 20-month, cohort-based journey, students move through in-person residencies, live virtual sessions, executive dialogues, AI labs, and practice-centered projects tied to enterprise challenges. Finance is learned alongside strategy and value creation; leadership is linked to organizational dynamics and negotiation; AI is treated as a managerial, ethical, and execution challenge; and the global immersion connects economics, international business, and geopolitics. The residency structure also respects the realities of executive life: many live sessions are built around half Fridays and half Saturdays, creating flexibility while allowing participants to remain fully engaged in demanding professional roles. Signature experiences include the Strategic Leadership opening residency, AI Execution Lab, CEO Conversations on Leadership, Executive Coaching, International Business Seminar and Residency, AI Hackathon, and a Change Management Experiential Capstone.

Graduates are prepared for broader enterprise roles in business unit leadership, strategy, transformation, innovation, operations, cross-functional integration, and AI-enabled performance. The program is especially valuable for leaders seeking to move from functional excellence to enterprise responsibility in established companies, growth firms, family enterprises, and mission-driven organizations. Its interdisciplinary structure also prepares graduates to lead initiatives requiring coordination across finance, strategy, talent, technology, and global business contexts. The EMBA is a professional degree and does not lead to licensure, but it provides a strong platform for continued executive development and future doctoral or specialized graduate study.

Drexel LeBow's EMBA stands out by combining Drexel's experiential model with a sharper view of what executive education should deliver now: strategic wisdom, enterprise orchestration, AI-driven innovation, global perspectives, and personal transformation. Rather than offering a set of disconnected courses, the program is designed as an integrated executive journey in which multiple disciplines converge to help students lead under ambiguity, disruption, and consequence. Its flexible residency cadence—including live formats built around half Fridays and half Saturdays—reflects the work commitments of senior professionals while preserving intensity, continuity, and application. That blend of interdisciplinarity, executive-fit design, and developmental rigor distinguishes the program within LeBow and positions it to set a higher standard for modern executive business education.
