About the Program

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Learning Design prepares educators, trainers, and organizational leaders to translate contemporary research and practice related to using technology and other tools in the service of learning design.

Through innovative class projects and case studies of various learning designs and spaces, students learn to apply the principles, theories, models, tools, and techniques of a variety of approaches to learning design in diverse settings. Throughout the courses, students are encouraged to integrate their professional experiences.

The program is designed to increase students’ ability to apply theories of learning and research-based approaches to design to develop spaces and systems that foster innovative learning experiences. Courses apply concepts from the learning sciences, data science, and organizational change to support improvement at the level of individual educational experiences in addition to the systems level.

The project-based curriculum builds on Drexel's long history of supporting experiential education and equips students with transferable skills, applied experience, and career and professional advancement.
