About the Program
The graduate certificate program in will train students in the fundamentals of wireless radio frequency (RF) communications with applications in communications, radar, and adversarial open channel dynamics. The design and operation of systems using advanced radio, transceiver, signal, control, microwave, and wireless technologies requires technical knowledge of new capabilities and, critically, the ability to act rapidly for both offensive and defensive tactical solutions.
Learning occurs through a combination of foundational coursework, applied projects, and experimental wireless communications labs. Core courses cover probability, radar, electronic warfare, and wireless experimentation. Students also select two electives in areas such as RF electronics, signal processing, or radio propagation to tailor the program to their professional goals.

Admission Requirements
Students with a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 should have the necessary pre-requisites the program. However, relevant field experience will also be taken into account in the application review process. Students applying to the program will be required to submit an online application, transcript(s), and resume to qualify for acceptance and subsequent enrollment into each respective graduate program.
