About the Program

The Biostatistical Methods Certificate is designed to provide graduate-level students with a strong methodological foundation in biostatistics. Students will complete a sequence of three courses in biostatistics and statistical computing, and then select among two additional courses in biostatistics methods or data science. Graduates of the program will be able to apply statistical methods appropriately in a variety of applications, manage and analyze data, and critically evaluate quantitative research, strengthening their readiness for advanced coursework, research roles, and data-driven public health practice.

Admission Requirements

This certificate is only open to current Drexel students. Graduate certificates are designed to provide specific depth within a student’s area of training or complement their training in a related discipline. All matriculated master's students in semester programs, except for students pursuing the MS in Biostatistics, are eligible to enroll.

Students must receive approval from their home program and the Dornsife School of Public Health and complete the necessary paperwork with the DSPH Academic Advising Team.
