Minor in Real Estate Management and Development

About the Minor

The Real Estate Management and Development minor introduces students to real estate market analysis, development processes, and property management. Students examine financial feasibility, regulatory considerations, and market dynamics shaping real estate decisions. The program strengthens analytical reasoning and financial modeling skills. Through applied coursework, students evaluate investment opportunities and learn how economic and social forces affect real estate markets. The minor prepares students to understand the role of real estate within broader business and economic contexts.

Admissions Requirements

Students are required to declare a major before declaring a minor. Students admitted directly into a specific major at the time of matriculation may declare a minor beginning in their second semester. All requirements for the minor must be completed either concurrently with or prior to the completion of the primary major requirements. This ensures that students fulfill the expectations of their primary field of study while completing any additional areas of academic specialization.
