Minor in International Business

About the Minor

The International Business minor is designed for students to develop their global awareness and their ability to work effectively in culturally diverse and interconnected business environments. The curriculum provides students with an understanding of issues related to international business and familiarizes them with advanced topics involving international trade, international money and finance, and other specialized topics. The minor complements a variety of degrees, particularly for students interested in applying their major discipline in an international context or within a multinational corporation.

Admission Requirements

Must be enrolled in a full time program.

Students are required to declare a major before declaring a minor. Students admitted directly into a specific major at the time of matriculation may declare a minor beginning in their second semester. All requirements for the minor must be completed either concurrently with or prior to the completion of the primary major requirements. This ensures that students fulfill the expectations of their primary field of study while completing any additional areas of academic specialization.
