Minor in Social Entrepreneurship
About the Minor
The Social Entrepreneurship minor explores how entrepreneurial approaches can address social and environmental challenges. Students examine impact measurement, mission-driven strategy, and sustainable business models. The program cultivates ethical awareness, systems thinking, and socially responsible leadership. Through applied projects and case analysis, students design solutions that balance financial sustainability with measurable social impact. The minor prepares students to lead initiatives that create positive change across communities and industries.
Admission Requirements
Must be enrolled in a full time program.
Students are required to declare a major before declaring a minor. Students admitted directly into a specific major at the time of matriculation may declare a minor beginning in their second semester. All requirements for the minor must be completed either concurrently with or prior to the completion of the primary major requirements. This ensures that students fulfill the expectations of their primary field of study while completing any additional areas of academic specialization.
