About the Program
The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management at Drexel University prepares students to lead complex building projects through a balanced integration of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and professional practice.
Learning Experience
The curriculum combines technical coursework with experiential learning to bridge theory and practice. Students engage in hands-on studios, collaborative projects, and applied coursework that emphasize real-world problem-solving. Program Learning Outcomes
- Students develop the ability to plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects across their full lifecycle.
- Graduates demonstrate proficiency in cost estimating, scheduling, project controls, and risk management, while also gaining fluency in Building Information Modeling (BIM), virtual design and construction, and emerging construction technologies.
- Equally important, students cultivate the “art” of construction management—communication, leadership, negotiation, and ethical decision-making—enabling them to guide diverse teams and respond creatively to evolving project challenges.
