Minor in Film and Television Production
About the Minor
The minor in Film & Television Production introduces students to the core production skills of cinematic storytelling. Students begin with foundational coursework in film production, cinematography, and either fiction or documentary filmmaking, along with television series development. After building this foundation, students deepen their skills through focused study in areas such as directing, audio production and post, or collaborative production workshops.
Admission Requirements
For more information, contact Students are required to declare a major before declaring a minor. Students admitted directly into a specific major at the time of matriculation may declare a minor beginning in their second semester. All requirements for the minor must be completed either concurrently with or prior to the completion of the primary major requirements. This ensures that students fulfill the expectations of their primary field of study while completing any additional areas of academic specialization.
