About the Program

The Health Professions Undecided major is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in Nursing, Health Sciences, or Exercise Science but would like additional time to explore their academic and professional interests before selecting a specific major. During the first year, students complete a combination of university core and College of Nursing and Health Professions requirements, allowing them to build a strong academic foundation while exploring a variety of health-related disciplines.

By the third term, students transition into one of the College's participating majors: Nursing, Health Sciences, or Exercise Science.

Important Note: Students interested in pursuing the Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Bridge Program, Health Sciences/Physical Therapy Bridge Program, or Health Sciences/Occupational Therapy Bridge Program are not eligible for the Health Professions Undecided major. To ensure timely completion of prerequisite and program-specific requirements, these students should enroll directly in the Health Sciences major.
