Dissection of the human body with particular attention to the morphological relationships of individual organ systems. Emphasis is placed on internal anatomy as a major facet of this instruction which is designed for eventual autopsy evisceration and subsequent dissection, as well as surgical pathology gross examinations.

MSPA 501S Introduction to Human Physiology 3.0 Credits
Introduction to Human Physiology is intended for graduate students within ICO and PMPH to develop a graduate level understanding of human physiology. In addition to the specific learning objectives outlined herein, the course enriches the overall graduate biomedical science curriculum of these programs. For students in a pre-medical program of study, Introduction to Human Physiology integrates with other courses, such as biochemistry and anatomy, to prepare students for both the MCAT as well as more advanced graduate course work.

Basic introductory photography course with special emphasis on macro, close-up and photomicrographic techniques. Special techniques relative to the biomedical field, such as digital imaging and basic radiographic techniques are explored.
