AADM 5500 Management Techniques and Strategic Planning in Arts and Cultural Organizations 3.0 Credits
This course examines the theory and practice of managing organizations, decision-making, and human resources management for arts and cultural executives. It introduces organizational life-cycles and the elements that support sustainable, resilient creative-sector organizations. Students explore innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, leadership, strategic planning and approaches to program and organizational development across arts and cultural institutions, including museums. Through assessments, readings, papers and applied projects, students built the knowledge and skills needed for effective leadership and strategic roles in the arts.
