ACCT 6350 Strategy and the Master Budgeting Process 3.0 Credits

This course explores how management accounting and strategic budgeting drive planning, performance, and organizational success. The course covers the full budgeting cycle—from strategic planning and forecasting to variance analysis to integration with monthly financial reporting. Students will learn to build dynamic, data-driven budgets using modern tools and analytics for agile, informed decision-making. Emphasis is on aligning financial planning with corporate strategy and leveraging technology and data visualization to communicate insights and recommendations. Hands-on exercises develop and demonstrate business acumen, including navigating through the organization required for today’s fast-changing environment.
