ACCT 6603 Accounting for Executives 2.0 Credits
The course introduces and builds on accounting fundamentals that executives need to make sound business decisions. The class will cover topics on generating information for external users (financial accounting) and analysis needed to make management decision (managerial accounting). The course is designed to build understanding of the primary financial statements by building intuition on the economic events that are recorded in those statements. Students are exposed to the basics of valuation, time value of money, and decision-making tools. The class focuses on the use of both quantitative and qualitative information.
