ARCH 141 Architecture and Society I 3.0 Credits
This survey course examines the evolution of architectural and urban thought, form, space, and structure in light of changing human values and institutions. Particular attention is paid to materials, meaning, and use. It explores global built environments from the prehistoric era through the early Medieval period (9th century CE) in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
