ARCH 2402 Architectural History II 3.0 Credits
This survey course aims to foster an historically informed understanding of global built environments by examining the history of architecture and urbanism from the sixteenth through early twenty-first centuries. In studying selected works, attention is paid to structures' appearances, building materials, construction, interiors, and functions, and their relationships to various socio-cultural, political, and economic factors. This lecture class may include written exams and short essay assignments.
