ARCH 3220 Applied Digital Tools in Architecture 3.0 Credits
This course explores generative design strategies utilizing analytical tools to perform critical contextual analysis. Students would utilize modelling and mapping techniques that synthesize geospatial, geopolitical, and socio-ecological data, insights gathered from engagement, and other source materials to create visualizations and practical applications. Learn how to graphically and formally represent data and generate evidence-based design strategies that interrogate formal and informal systems, policies, and other structures that organize and shape urban life. Through research, guided lessons, and design exercises, students will cultivate an informed design process.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
