ARCH 3410 Architecture in Philadelphia 3.0 Credits

This lecture course introduces students to the architectural and urban planning history of Philadelphia from its establishment in 1682 through today. Readings, lectures, and tours will focus on architectural styles, construction methods, noteworthy architects, socio-cultural change in the city, and historic preservation. This class may include both written exams and research essays.
