ARCH 3425 History of Mediterranean Architecture 3.0 Credits

This lecture course explores the history of architecture and urbanism in the Mediterranean region, including Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Levant (Mediterranean West Asia). Content will emphasize geographical and transhistorical links that have influenced the design, production, and use of built environments across a wide chronology (ancient through contemporary) in an area united by the sea. This class may include both written exams and research essays.
