ARCH 3450 Introduction to Historic Preservation 3.0 Credits
This course is an introduction to the foundational principles and development of historic preservation as a field of practice from the nineteenth century through the current day. It explores the theoretical, legal, political, and professional contexts within which preservation has evolved into an international movement, as well as the challenges it now faces. This class may include both written exams and research essays.
