AUD 8001 Clinical Pathophysiology 3.0 Credits
This course provides a medically-oriented examination of the etiology, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of auditory and vestibular disorders across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on developing diagnostic reasoning within an interprofessional healthcare framework. Students learn to formulate differential diagnoses and to select, justify, and order appropriate diagnostic evaluations when indicated.
