AUD 8002 Clinical Imaging and Radiology and Pharmacology for Audiology 3.0 Credits
This course provides an introduction to radiologic imaging and pharmacologic principles as they relate to the diagnosis and management of auditory and vestibular disorders. Emphasis is placed on the clinical application of imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, CT) and pharmacologic agents commonly encountered in audiologic practice. Students develop skills in determining when imaging or laboratory testing is indicated, formulating appropriate test requests, and interpreting radiologic reports within the context of audiologic findings.
