AUD 8811 Clinical Practicum II 1.0 Credit
This course provides the opportunity for students to develop clinical skills through a combination of observation and participation in direct patient care performed at the Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI). Students will be expected to proficiently perform those skills learned during the previous term's Clinical Skills courses on scheduled patients. Additionally, students are expected to continue their role as active observers when new skills are introduced, questioning and learning the patient care process. These learning experiences provide the clinical opportunity for students to develop their clinical skills while applying knowledge gained from didactic and laboratory preparation.
