AUD 8812 Clinical Practicum III 2.0 Credits
This course incorporates direct patient care experiences at Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI), and Standardized Patient sessions. These learning experiences allow students to continue the development and refinement of their clinical skills through continued observation of competent clinical role models and direct patient interactions, thus building and incorporating advanced clinical skills developed through didactic knowledge, laboratory sessions and previous clinical experiences at PEI. The course prepares students for the expectations and challenges of the future including resumes, curriculum vita, cover letter, personal statements, supporting applications, and interviewing skills for clerksship/ externship and employment. Includes resume writing and professionalism.
