BIO 1112 General Biology II 3.0 Credits
The course will survey physiological systems, including the respiratory, circulatory, homeostatic, excretory, digestive, immune, and reproductive systems in animals. In addition, students will learn about the relationships between organisms and the environment, including how humans impact ecosystems and the biosphere. and the mechanisms of how populations and species change over time, highlighting key evolutionary events. Students will also explore the development of individual organisms, connecting developmental processes with evolutionary trends. This course is intended for STEM majors.
