BLAW 3360 Intellectual Property and Cyber Law 3.0 Credits

Intellectual Property (IP) and Cyber Law are fast-evolving fields that raise complex issues affecting every business. This course introduces students to the legal tools available to protect some of a company’s most valuable assets. Students will learn how to develop and safeguard trademarks and use copyright law to protect creative works. The course also covers patent protection for novel inventions and strategies for maintaining trade secrets. In addition, students will examine the laws governing the digital landscape, including domain names, websites, social media accounts, and emerging challenges presented by artificial intelligence.
