BLAW 5520 Legal Considerations for Business Practices 1.5 Credit
This course analyzes laws governing business transactions, relationships, and organizations with a focus on legally enforceable contracts, employee/agent rights and duties, and intellectual property law. Related areas of the legal environment of business and business organizations will also be covered. A proper understanding of the legal environment in which businesses operate is fundamental to the executive decision-making process. This course will explore legal topics with an emphasis on hands on simulations and case analysis. There will also be assignments to complete both outside of and within class.
