BMES 3310 Biomedical Transport and Thermodynamic Fundamentals 4.0 Credits
This course introduces aspects of thermodynamics and transport phenomena in biological systems, with a focus on applications in biomedical engineering. The course will the cover the laws of thermodynamics, mass and energy balances, and transport by diffusion and convection. These principles will be explored with a focus on the relevance to medical device design, tissue engineering, and drug delivery.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
