BMES 5332 Tissue Engineering 3.0 Credits
This course covers advanced concepts in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, focusing on how cell behavior is regulated by the tissue microenvironment and how these interactions are modeled and engineered. Students learn biological principles such as stem cell biology, cell signaling, and cell–matrix interactions alongside engineering strategies including biomaterial scaffolds, drug and gene delivery systems, bioreactors, and emerging fabrication technologies.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
