BMES 5642 Biomedical AI Research and Innovation 3.0 Credits
This course is a project‑driven experience in which students design and execute original research in biomedical machine learning and artificial intelligence. Projects may involve deep learning, large language models, multimodal biomedical data, clinical text mining, and imaging or omics applications. Students are expected to lead more independent, research‑intensive investigations, incorporating rigorous literature analysis, methodological justification, and critical evaluation of related work. Working closely with faculty mentors, students produce publication‑quality models, analyses, and presentations.
