BSAN 3460 Data Access and Wrangling 3.0 Credits

Before meaningful analysis can take place, raw data must be cleaned, organized, and transformed into a usable form. This course provides students with the foundational skills of data wrangling and access: the essential step of preparing data for downstream analysis or integration into analytical pipelines. Students will learn how to access and import data from a wide variety of sources, manage, and reshape that data to suit analytical goals, and apply systematic techniques for identifying and addressing inconsistencies, errors, and missing values. By the end of the course, students will be able to transform raw datasets into well-structured, reliable inputs that support rigorous statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and decision-making.
