BSAN 6020 Data Driven AI for Management Decisions 1.5 Credit

This course equips students with skills for employing data-driven initiatives by focusing on how analytics, machine learning and AI are used to support business decisions. Students will identify opportunities where analytics can create value, formulate questions and define appropriate metrics for evaluating success. Students will be introduced to analytical approaches, including classification, prediction and AI-driven applications at a conceptual level, learning how to interpret outputs, assess model performance and make decisions about model use, trade-offs and risks. Data quality and ethical considerations, including bias, privacy and governance, are integrated throughout. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to oversee analytics projects and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
