BST 8010 Probability and Statistical Inference I 3.0 Credits
This course will introduce students to the fundamental concepts of probability theory and methods of statistical inference. Topics include probability distributions, conditional distributions, expected values, moment-generating functions, exponential families, probability inequalities, central limit theorems, sufficient statistics, points estimation, hypothesis testing, and interval estimation.
