BUSN 9971 Introduction to Dissertation Research 4.0 Credits

Doctoral candidates in the LeBow DBA program are required to register for a sequence of 5 dissertation courses. This is the 1st of that sequence. Combined, that sequence parallels a typical behavioral PhD in Business. In the case of a DBA the process is split into several courses segmenting the process of preparation, lit review, proposal, data collection, analysis, and write-up into smaller manageable steps. The courses designate the research activity taken towards completing the dissertation. This course focuses on developing the student's research memo into a testable research design as well as properly articulating the business and research problems to be addressed.
