CATX 3300 Peer Facilitation and Fieldwork with Supervision 3.0 Credits
This is an experiential course where students will learn facilitation skills using poetry, prose and expressive writing in individual and group settings primarily with peers and community members. The peer facilitation sessions will be supervised by a trained clinician instructor. Students will also visit sites in the community and learn facilitation skills with a range of populations under the supervision of a trained poetry therapist. These sites can include student groups/ clubs, Writers room (Dornsife/HUB), sites affiliated with Drexel university, 11th street family services etc.).
