CATX 4100 Creative Arts in Healthcare 3.0 Credits
This course provides an overview of current practices and research in how the arts are integrated into health care settings. Students will learn about the continuum from arts-in-health to the Creative Arts Therapies as well as how to lean into their own creative resources and expressive arts practices as a form of health and well-being. Through experiential and didactic learning, the course will address topics like embodied awareness, sensory engagement and mind-body integration for health and well-being.
