CHE 3001 Statistical and Computational Methods 4.0 Credits
Covers numerical approaches to chemical engineering problem-solving, including methods development and finite element software for solving differential equations (COMSOL Multiphysics). Also covers statistical treatment of engineering data including application of statistical techniques to process model formulation, design of experiments, and analysis of probabilistic systems.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
Prerequisites: (MATH 2901 [Min Grade: D] or MATH 210 [Min Grade: D]) and (ECE 1210 [Min Grade: D] or CS 1020 [Min Grade: D] or ENGR 131 [Min Grade: D] or ENGR 132 [Min Grade: D])
