CHEM 572 Chemical Reactions in Metabolism 3.0 Credits
The course will introduce chemical reactions and mechanisms in the major metabolic pathways, including carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids, toward energy generation and use. The course will also discuss the catalytic and regulatory mechanisms of enzymes in metabolic reactions and their relevance to physiology.
