CIS 4998 Senior Project I 3.0 Credits
This course is the first part of a multi-term capstone experience involving in-depth study and application of computer and information sciences. Students work in teams to develop a significant product often for an external stakeholder. They create this project using a development process that includes planning, analysis, specification, design, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. During the course, students flesh out the project concept, may build prototypes, design the initial architecture of the system, and start implementing the final project. Students are expected to test along the way as well as produce a formal requirements document.
