CIVE 2410 Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics 4.0 Credits
The course covers the fundamentals of fluid mechanics (e.g., fluid properties, hydrostatic forces, kinematics of flow, the Bernoulli equation, linear momentum, dimensional analysis, Froude and Reynolds similarity and hydraulic models) and its application to the design and analysis of hydraulic structures and systems (e.g., principles of confined flow, pipe networks, open channel flow, channel design, hydraulic modeling, and introduction to unsteady flow).
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
