CIVE 2510 Construction Materials 4.0 Credits
The course introduces the relationship between material structure and properties using materials science and engineering principles. Focuses on civil engineering materials including aggregates, portland cement concrete, asphaltic materials, wood, metals, polymers, masonry, and composites. Laboratory sessions emphasize material behavior, mechanical properties, standard testing methods, and mixture design.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
Prerequisites: MEM 2420 [Min Grade: D] or MEM 202 [Min Grade: D]
