CIVE 3220 Structural Design 3.0 Credits
The course provides a general overview of the engineering design process and a specific treatment of the structural design process. The key topics covered include the determination of system-level loads/demands, the estimation of element-level demands and demand envelopes, and the sizing of beams and columns constructed of both reinforced concrete and structural steel.
