CIVE 6240 Infrastructure Condition Evaluation 3.0 Credits
This course covers the tools necessary for inspecting and evaluating materials and infrastructure. Most relevant methods used for Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) of structural components will be discussed. Physical principles of wave propagation, acoustics, and electromagnetics underlying the NDE methods will be covered. Sensor data acquisition, digital signal processing, and machine learning will be addressed.
